'Five Star Laundry' is the debut album by Australian post-grunge band Motor Ace, first released in 2001.
The album exposed Motor Ace to the Australian public, most notably to listeners of Triple J. It was also most notable for the single "Death Defy", which became the theme song for the Australian drama series The Secret Life of Us.
Five Star Laundry was produced and engineered by Craig Harnath and Chris Dickie in February 2000 at Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne
